Windows 8 Classes

Are you having trouble with Windows 8? Confused by the new look and feel of Windows? The Lake County Library System continues its popular Windows 8 program. Bring your own laptop or use one of ours. We will teach you how to personalize your start screen, how to use the new functions in Windows and where to get apps to help you with everyday tasks.

Class sizes are limited, so pre-registration is required. Call the library to be added to the class.

Getting Started with Microsoft Windows 8, Cooper Memorial Library, Oct. 22, 2014, 10:30 a.m.

Classes will be taught by Barbara Perry, Learning Experience Coordinator for the Lake County Library System. Barbara holds an MBA and Masters in Organizational Development. She is a Microsoft Certified System Engineer as well as a certified Microsoft Application Specialist.

Call your local library to register or for more information about these free classes. Seating is limited, so be sure to register early.
