Check Out Great Prizes @ Your Library

This year sponsors of the 2013 BookFest, Viva Libros! have provided some wonderful items. The money raised from these donations will allow us to continue excellent library programs such as the BookFest. Raffle tickets are available at any Lake County Library System library for $1 per ticket, $5 for 6 tickets and $10 for 15 tickets. Simply mark your tickets with the number of the item you wish to be entered in to win.

# 1 : Native Pride Quilt: A 45” x 63” quilt in the style of the Seminole and Miccosukee Native Peoples of Florida, designed & created by Barbara Morse for the BookFest with an estimated value of $400.

# 2: Seminole Blush Afghan: A Seminole style afghan 56” x 45” designed & created by Marli Lopez for the BookFest. It has an estimated value of $100.

# 3: Shoebox Cake: An edible made to order sugar arts creation, serves 20. The shoebox cake will be created at the request of the winner by Helena. The cake has an estimated value of $150.

#4: Troy-Bilt 2700 PSI 2.3 GPM Gas Pressure Washer Item #:52080 | Model #:020486 with an estimated value of $319.00 donated by Lowe’s of Mount Dora.

#5: Grill Master 3-Burner Liquid Propane Gas Grill Item #:221377 | Model #:720-0737 with an estimated value of $179.00 donated by Lowe’s of Mount Dora.

#6: Char-Broil TRU Infrared Commercial 4-Burner Liquid Propane & Natural Gas Grill Item #:404325 | Model #:463241413 with an estimated value of $499.00 donated by Lowe’s of Mount Dora.

Additional items will be available at the Authors’ Reception on Friday, March 15th in the W.T. Bland Public Library. The public is invited to attend this free event featuring best-selling authors Wendy Corsi-Staub, Alison Gaylin, Vivian Shipley, Robert Macomber, Mary Anna Evans, James C. Clark, Ryan Van Cleave, Christopher Tozier, Kevin McCarthy, Doug Dillon, Jeffrey Lamb and speakers Jules Turscanyi and Julie England.
