17th Annual Library Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

You’re invited to the W. T. Bland Public Library 17th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Wednesday, December 4th starting at 4:30pm.  While we can’t promise you snow, we can promise you gingerbread, Christmas carols, candy canes, cookies and punch. There will be a special performance by the Mount Dora School of Ballet and Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive to lead everyone to the Library’s Christmas tree and with a wave of his hand turn on the Christmas tree lights. In addition there will be an ornament making workshop for children after the Christmas Tree Lighting.

Please bring a nonperishable food item to donate to the Lake Cares Food Pantry or a new toy or new clothing to donate to Mount Dora’s Adopt-a-Child or Two Program. Pet food is also appropriate and will be donated to the Lake County Humane Society or the Feline Adoption Society.

The W. T. Bland Public Library is located at 1995 N. Donnelly Street in Mount Dora. All library programs are free and open to the public. For additional information, call 735-7180, option 5
