Free face masks for Lake County residents

July 7 & 8, 2020 (Tuesday & Wednesday). 10am - 5pm. Available at seven locations on a first-come, first-served basis. Limit one mask per person.

Independence Day - Holiday Closures

In observance of Independence Day, all Lake County libraries will be closed on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4. The Helen Lehmann Memorial Library in Montverde is closed until further notice as a precaution against coronavirus.

The public is invited to check out which libraries have limited reopening and/or curbside service. As of March 16, 2020, late fees for library items are not being charged to your account. All previous fines and fees will remain. More details here. See what curbside service looks like!

Poetry winners announced!

The 18th Annual East Lake County Library Poetry Contest has completed. The contest was held from April to May 2020. 81 poets ranging from age 5-89 submitted their poems for top prizes. 261 total poems were judged.

Lake County residents and reciprocal borrowers without a Lake County library card can register for a free, temporary digital-access library card to use our online resources.
