Semi-Annual Book Sale
2525 Oakley Seaver Drive, Clermont
Friday, August 16, 2013 - Saturday, August 17, 2013
9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Friends of Cooper Memorial Library have been busy collecting books and all have been sorted and are in good condition. The books include general fiction, romance, mystery, science fiction and biography. On sale also are all kinds of non-fiction including history, economics, religion, child-rearing, psychology, cookbooks and lots of how-to-do-it books. There also is a large collection of CDs, books-on-tape, DVDs, videos, and jigsaw puzzles. Included in both fiction and non-fiction works is a wide selection of large print books. The prices range from 10 cents to $1 with a few classics and coffee-table books priced slightly higher. All money earned will be spent at the library. The Friends provide funds for many of the special programs for children, teens, and adults including the Veterans History Project and the Festival of Reading in the spring. This year The Friends continue to fund several on-going projects/programs including DVDs for children, teens and adults, the Battle of the Bands and the Children’s Summer Reading Program. Those interested in children’s books should plan to come early since these books usually sell out fast.
