Sign up your child (age 3 and younger) for their first library card and you can pick out a brand new board book to add to your home library. This group had fun choosing a book after signing up for a free library card which is good for all 13 public libraries in the system.

Santa and His Reindeer
Leesburg Public Library
Lois Gross, children's librarian at Leesburg Public Library, played host to Santa and his grey-nosed reindeer at a very special Christmas event on December 14.

Born to Read Party
Paisley County Library
Elise Rainey, children's librarian, presented a very special Born to Read party at Paisley County Library for 17 lucky children and their parents and caregivers. Each child received a brand new board book to add to their home library.

Get a Ticket to Read

W. T. Bland Public Library's "Get a ticket to read" program on November 13, 2004 featured train rides for all.

Costume Party

Children's librarian Kristen Wiley and her 5 month old daughter Jane join in singing a song at a costume party held October 18 at Marion Baysinger Memorial Library in Groveland. All children ages 3 and younger received a set of baby play keys at this special Born to Read party.
