World Book Night U.S.A.

World Book Night is an annual celebration designed to spread a love of reading and books. On April 23rd tens of thousands of people will share books with others in their communities across America to spread the joy and love of reading.

We are excited to be part of this amazing celebration and on April 23rd at 10 a.m. in the Cooper Memorial Library will be giving away 20 copies of Alice Sebold’s book, Lovely Bones. The adult learners from the LCLS Adult Literacy Program and Lake Technical ESoL classes will gather and have the opportunity to mingle with fellow students, Lake Tech teachers and staff, and Lake County Library System volunteer tutors and staff, as well as learn about the Circulation Challenge.

The event includes food, giveaways, displays, and plenty of fun. Special thanks to the Clermont Chick-fil-A for donating food for the event.
