Lake County Library System Has Record eBooks Circulation

Lake County Library System checked out 330 items on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28th, the highest daily circulation since going online in August, 2011. The total circulation is now over 46,000 with 5,000 unique users of eBooks. The libraries now have 3,192 titles in the eBook collection. New titles include books by Bella Andre, Jefferson Bass, G. A. McKevett, Janette Oke, Katherine Hall Page, Tracie Peterson, and Ian Rankin.

EBooks are available to download from the library’s website 24/7. Library card holders can check out and download digital media anytime, anywhere by visiting http://mylakelibrary.lib.overdrive.com Patrons may browse the library’s website, check out with a valid library card, and download to their PC or Mac®, and many mobile devices with the required free software provided.

There are never any late fees! No trips to return books! Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period. This new service, powered by OverDrive, is free for patrons with a Lake County Library System library card. Library cards are free for residents of Lake County and reciprocal borrowers.
