eBook Circulation Exceeds 65,000!

The Lake County Library System began offerring downloadable eBooks in August, 2011.  Since the start of the progam, eBooks have been checked out over 65,000 times.  This service continues to grow.  Recent authors added include Nora Ephron, Tom Dorsey, Suzanne Brockmann, and Kay Hooper.

eBooks are available to download from the library’s website 24/7. Library card holders can check out and download digital media anytime, anywhere by visiting Patrons may browse the library’s website, check out with a valid library card, and download to their PC or Mac®, and many mobile devices with the required free software provided.

There are never any late fees! No trips to return books! Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period. This new service, powered by OverDrive, is free for patrons with a Lake County Library System library card. Library cards are free for residents of Lake County and reciprocal borrowers.
