Ninth Annual Bluegrass Festival

East Lake County Library hosts its Ninth Annual Bluegrass Festival on March 16, 2013 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. and admission is free. Performers include the Blackwater Creek Bluegrass Band, Makin’ Time and special guest author and performer, Captain Bill Good.

The East Lake Friends of the Library will have their Spring Fling which includes their book sale, bake sale, chance drawing and flea market on the library site. Happy Faces face painters will be available free for children of all ages from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. Food concessions will be on sale by the East Lake Historical Society.

Also on hand will be the Square Foot Gardener from SFG Supply in Eustis – Steve Earls. He will demonstrate how to set up this versatile garden in limited space. The Lake County Agricultural Center’s Mobile Plant Clinic will be onsite to diagnose plant problems and give home horticulture assistance.

Bring chairs for outside seating. All performances will be on the lawn in front of the East Lake County Library, 31340 County Road 437 South in Sorrento. Coolers are allowed but no alcohol.
