Marion Baysinger Library Launches Summer Reading

Readers of all ages will explore the night this summer as Marion Baysinger Memorial Library presents “Dig into Reading!” during their summer program. The 2013 Summer Reading Program is open to preschool through young adult, with programs, prize drawings, games, crafts, and more.

Families are invited to join the Read-to-Me portion of the program for children grades K – 5th. Two Grand Prizes will be presented to the top summer readers! Registration begins June 1.

Activities include special guests’ shows like Karen Climer’s Crazy Balloon Show, Children’s Educational Theater, Swamp Girl Adventures, Talako Indian Dancers and Zoo Mom Science and a Special Movie Matinee all on Thursdays at 2 p.m. in the Puryear Community Building in Groveland. Come enjoy our Tuesday Movie Matinees at 1 p.m. also at the Puryear Community Building, visit the library for movie listings and dates.

The Marion Baysinger Memorial Library is located at 756 W Broad Street and the Puryear Building is located at 243 S. Lake Ave., both in Groveland.
