Easter Egg Hunt @ the Library

At the special invitation of the W. T. Bland Public Library and the Mount Dora Kiwanis Club, the Easter Bunny will make an appearance at the Library’s annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19 at 10:00 a.m. All children through the age of 10 are invited to look for eggs on the front lawn of the Library. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please be on time for the Easter Egg hunt starts promptly at 10:00 a.m. To obtain their goody bag filled with age appropriate candy and other treats, the child must turn in their eggs they have collected.

After the Easter Egg hunt, there will be chance to take your child’s picture with the Easter Bunny who has graciously agreed to pose for pictures. Please bring your own camera for this special photo opportunity. In addition there will be a face painter, a balloon artist and snow cones. All of these are free. You may park in the parking lot of the Church of Christ (located at 1801 N. Donnelly Street) if you can't find a place to park in the Library's parking lot. The Church of Christ is less than a block from the front lawn of the Library.

Please bring a non-perishable food item to donate to Lake Cares Food Pantry. Lake Cares! is a need based organization whose goal is to feed the body, educate the mind and lift the spirit of all individuals.

The W. T. Bland Public Library would like to thank the Mount Dora Kiwanis Club and the Friends of the Library, Mount Dora for their generous support of our Annual Easter Egg Hunt. The 14th Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the W. T. Bland Public Library located at 1995 N. Donnelly Street in Mount Dora. All Library programs are free and open to the public.
