Hear That Tune!

Teen Music Reviews on the Web

The Lake County Library System invites you to Hear That Tune! part of The Creative Side, a new initiative for teens to be more involved in music, self expression and a more modern love of the arts!  Bands and soloists are reviewed on the Teen Lib page of the website. Reviews range in genres from Indie, Alternative rock; pop; and other genres.

Teen author Amanda Paige is posting the reviews. She loves the arts and has been involved with the Lake County Library System’s Art Gallery and Writers’ on the Web over the past four years. She has had the opportunity to have many of her poems and lyrics published, as well as art, opinion articles and music reviews. She loves the theatre and is involved whenever she gets the chance!

Amanda’s view is that caution tape doesn't have to criss-cross every band played on the radio; there are bands and soloists erupting from the musical world that will not give anyone verbal whiplash. This section will open the door to less known musical acts both national and especially local that have diverse talents and contagious songs.

Amanda says “Music is a great part of my life. I play the acoustic guitar and keyboard and I am enrolled in college courses in both music and design. Life needs a soundtrack, so find yours today. Gotta love Music!”
