Good Online Games for Kids

Linda Goff, Youth Services Coordinator

Did you know that I've taken the work out of tracking down safe online games for kids?  And they're all games that don't require an account to be set up before playing. Here's the web address:  http://www.mylakelibrary.org/kids/activities.aspx  which leads to games sure to please even the pickiest of online gamers.  It even has something for the very youngest thanks to Fisher-Price's website.  I've given you the web address, but here's another way to find our game page:

1) Go to the library system's website at www.mylakelibrary.org

2) Click on the picture of the girl on the top right of the screen.

3) Click on Lakeline Kids.

4) Look at the top of that page for the picture of a boy at a computer with the caption "games & activities".

5) Click on any of the 43 game sites listed there and have fun playing!

Please remember that it's best to bring your own earbuds or headphones to listen to online games in the library.  Many public libraries no longer provide earbuds in order to prevent the spread of germs.
