Enjoy the Holidays with East Lake Library's Programs

Once again the Holidays will soon be upon us and we are gearing up for them at the East Lake County Library. We will gain have our traditional holiday programs for the kids. We hope you will be able to experience one or more of these programs. Each program is limited to 25 kids, so please sign-up as soon as possible. See details below for event particulars including when sign-ups begin. Have a wonderful holiday season.

Annual Pumpkin Decorating Program: Saturday, October 23 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.. There is a limit of 25 children. Sign-ups begin October 1. Pumpkins and all decorating supplies will be provided. There will be goodies, Witch's Brew and special sound effects. Come join us in our Halloween decorated Community Room for a fun time.

Annual Ornament Decorating Program: Saturday, December 4 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.. There is a limit of 25 children. Sign-up will begin November 15, ornaments and all decorating supplies will be provided. There will be holiday cookies and punch. Enjoy the day decorating and listening to holiday tunes. Come join us for the first of two winter holiday events in our decorated community room..

Annual Faux Gingerbread Decorating Program: Saturday, December 18 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.. There is a limit of 25 children. Sign-up will begin November 25. Children are requested to bring one bag of candy to share to help decorate the houses. Houses, frosting cement and some candy will be provided. There will be goodies, hot chocolate and holiday tunes to bring cheer. Come join us for the last of our holiday events in our decorated community room.

We also want to invite all kids to our successful Science Experiments for Kids every Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. Kids learn principles of science with fun hands on experiments.

We hope to see all at the library and at our events throughout the year. Without you, our patrons, we would not be as successful as we are today. Have a safe and enjoyable holiday.
