New Lady Lake Public Library Facility

Marilynn Nesbitt

The Lady Lake Library project is going very well and is ahead of schedule for completion. The new facility will house 21,000 square feet of adult services on the first floor and will contain 3 ½ times more shelving, 40 new computers for the public, a computer lab, 2 literacy/study meeting rooms, and a beautiful reading area that will overlook the garden. The second floor will contain two meeting rooms and the rest of the 2nd floor will be used as storage areas for Town of Lady Lake departments. The current library facility will be remodeled and house youth services and technical services. The anticipated grand opening for the entire project is March 19, 2011.
