Murder Mysteries

Mystery in Word and Song
Carol Anderson

Do you enjoy murder mysteries? Then you will want to come to the Leesburg Public Library, 100 E. Main Street, Leesburg, Florida, on Saturday, April 30 from 2 to 4 p.m. In support of the Lake County Library System’s Festival of Reading theme, “Murder, Mystery, and Mayhem,” members of the Plantation Writers Guild will do readings from their mysterious writings and also be available to answer questions by aspiring writers and fans. Readings will include: “The Long Wait” by Joyce Halvorsen; “Hide-away Summer” by Evelyn Miley; “Peter Janek Gets the Facts” by Steve Matava; and “Oak Harbor” by Lovadell French. Some members of the October Mountain Washtub Band will provide intermission by performing a few murder/mystery-based tunes. Phone (352) 728-9790 or e-mail librarian@leesburgflorida.gov for further information.
