Writing Workshops in the Leesburg Library

A at 10 a.m., author, publisher and former agent Joan P. West will share publishing options from her book An Agent Speaks: A Primer for Unpublished Writers.

At 1 p.m.  Dr. Darlin Neal, award-winning author and University of Florida Assistant Professor, will conduct a session on Inhabiting Story: Story Starters. Writers will leave either with a story opening or a piece of flash fiction, and ideas on what it means to inhabit story. Dr. Neal is currently an assistant professor in the MFA program at The University of Central Florida. She is the author of the story collections, Rattlesnakes & The Moon and Elegant Punk.
