Tavares Storytime Moves to Tuesday

The City of Tavares Library has a new day for Toddler Storytime!

Come and meet our new Youth Room staff member Mrs. Liz Curtis as she takes toddlers on a marvelous journey full of stories, music and crafts each Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. in the City of Tavares Public Library Youth Room. This storytime is tailored for children from birth to 4 years old. It combines music and songs with reading out loud and crafts themed to the weekly stories. These fun-filled sessions encourage our children to move and sing and participate in an interactive reading activity. Children 4 years old and younger will also receive a free book when a parent signs them up for a library card for the first time with the Lake County Library System. For more information contact the Library at (352) 742-6204.
