Few if any books have captured the spirit and colorful history of Florida as has Patrick Smith’s beloved novel. This program is presented by Rick Smith, his son who states: "Patrick Smith, my father, has received many honors in his lifetime, from being inducted into the Florida Artists Hall of Fame, being nominated for both the Nobel Prize and Pulitzer Prize, to getting the Lifetime Achievement Award in Literature. Such is the impact of his most beloved novel, A Land Remembered."
A special drawing will be held for two $100 gift certificates to A Land Remembered, the famed restaurant located in the Rosen Shingle Creek, which pays homage to the bestselling novel.
Sponsored by the Minneola Schoolhouse Library and the Rosen Shingle Creek.
