Literary Arts in Leesburg!

First Ever Literary Arts Component of the Leesburg Fine Arts Festival

For the first time ever, Leesburg's annual Fine Arts Festival will include a Literary Arts component!  Located in front of the Leesburg Public Library, 100 East Main Street, Leesburg, will be a storytelling stage and booths for authors.  Storytellers featured on Saturday, March 8th include Cheryl Floyd with "Cajun Folk & Family Tales" at 11:00 am, Jessica McCune with "The Webelo and the Docent" at 1:00 pm, and Ann Scroggie with "Pennies and More" at 3:00 pm.  Storytellers on Sunday, March 9th will be Jeremy Evans with "The Fine Art of Lying" at 1:00 pm and Chris Kastle (pictured) with "Pubs, Pipers and the Speckled Door" at 3:00 pm.  Come enjoy the storytelling and visit Lisa DeMarco, author of The Unusual Tales of Matilda Marmalade; Glorianne Seymour Fahs and Robert Grenier, co-authors of Images of America:  Leesburg; Joyce Halvorsen, author of A Collection of Short Stories from the Pen of Joyce A. Halvorsen; Don Polly, author of Ethan Maguire; Ruth McIntyre Williams, author of Merthyr; and Pete Ahern, author of 3-Pete:  One Man's Journey.  Everyone is invited to enjoy a delightful weekend in historic downtown Leesburg as we celebrate the Arts!
