Play and Learn with Science Apps on iPads
Children have enjoyed playing with Science Apps on iPads at the library on Tuesday mornings at 11:00 a.m. The iPads were purchased last year with a grant from the Community Foundation of South Lake County. Children have explored Bill Nye the Science Guy’s Lab, been tested with DK Quiz, scientifically challenged on BrainPOP, and they fed a chameleon science vocabulary with Word Fly from Pearson Language Central. Come and join the fun in July on the 8th, 15th, and 22nd at 11:00 a.m. No registration necessary.

iPad Classes and Zinio eMagazines
Jennifer Moton, Baysinger Library’s Senior Library Assistant, will be giving iPad classes at the Minneola Schoolhouse Library on July 14th, 21st, and 28th at 10:30 a.m. Registration required at Minneola’s Library, please call them at 352-432-3921.
