July brings the Summer Reading Program to an end, but not before we see the performances of “Abby, the Amazing Amazon Parrot” on July 8th, Mad Science “Fire and Ice” Show on July 15th, and Katie Adams’ Make Believe Theater on July 22nd. All performances will be held at the Casino Community Building located at 604 W. Berckman Street in Fruitland Park.

Summer Library activities will continue until school starts. Information on the Lego Club, Wii Play, Chess Club, Kids Can Knit, Story Time and Friday Afternoon Movies can be found on the website or by calling the library at 352-360-6561.

Now through August 15th, children from Fruitland Park Elementary can come to the Fruitland Park Library and take there Accelerated Reader Tests. So don’t wait to build your points up!

The Adult Summer Reading Program will kick off in August with the reading of “The Time Travelers Wife.” We will then show the movie on Thursday, August 21st at 10:00 a.m.

September gets us ready for the fall. Please check the library for upcoming programs on Storytime themes and after-school activities.
