Lake County Library System Festival of Reading Sets 2012 Dates
March 26th – 31st the Lake County Library System will present the Festival of Reading 2012, In the Garden.

Library card holders will soon be able to check out and download best-selling novels, well-known classics, self-improvement guides, and much more 24/7 from the library’s website.
Second Annual Trash to Fashion Contest
The Lake County Library System will host the second annual Trash to Fashion Contest, a spectacular teen fashion extravaganza featuring eco-outfits from recycled or waste materials. Prizes will be awarded on Saturday, October 22nd at the Cooper Memorial Library.
Local Authors' Showcase Call for Entries
The Lake County Library System has issued a call for entries to its annual program celebrating local authors and their books. The first annual Local Authors’ Showcase will be held in the Leesburg Public Library on Saturday, October 15th.

Ask Me First
Ask Me First began service at the Leesburg Public Library in January of this year. The intent was to improve reader’s advisory service on the Library’s first floor and to provide a front door point of contact for those entering the building.

How to Make an Apple Pie and See the World
The library in beautiful Howey-in-the-Hills, at 112 West Central Avenue, will host the 2011 Summer Reading Program, One World, Many Stories, from 2-3 p.m. every Friday afternoon in July. This is a free program open to all children aged six to twelve.
