The Minneola Schoolhouse Library is a full service library offering materials for checkout, placing items on reserve from other libraries for pick-ups/drop-offs, children's and adult programs,computers for internet use, and wireless reception. The library has a Friends Group, the Front Porch Book Club,and Family Story Times. Come and check out our free magazine exchange.

  • National Backyard Games Week
    The Minneola Schoolhouse Library will celebrate National Backyard Games Week with children ages 5 to 12 by teaching and playing three traditional backyard games.
    On Monday, May 18 @ 4:00 p.m., Bocce Ball will rule. In addition to learning the proper way to play, there will be practice time and playing time.
    On Tuesday, May 19 @ 4:00 p.m., the game of Horseshoes will be taught. Everyone will get a chance to play.
    On Wednesday, May 20 @ 4:00 p.m., the Croquet wickets will be in place to begin practicing hitting the balls through the wickets gripping the mallets properly.
    All games will be played in the garden at the Minneola Schoolhouse Library which is located at 100 South Main Avenue in Minneola.  For further information, contact the library at 352-432-3921.
