  • Starting March 19, Tavares Public Library will present Spanish/English Bilingual Storytime every other Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the youth room. Hear fun stories and sing songs in English and Spanish. Other dates: April 2, 16, and 30, and May 14 and 28.   • The Tavares Public Library will offer a FREE Basic Conversational Spanish class on Mondays, 2:30pm-4:00pm, from April 7 to August 25, in the TRA Room. Please call the Reference Desk at 352-742-6203 and register. This Spanish course pays equal attention to developing listening and speaking skills, with a special emphasis on the oral aspects of the Spanish language. After this class, we will offer a second class that will develop reading and writing skills. The TRA Room is located at 100 E. Caroline, Tavares.
