  • The 4th Annual Local Authors’ Showcase will be held in the Leesburg Public Library on Saturday, October 11th from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The 2014 event will celebrate local authors of young adult fiction and their books.  This year we are featuring a number of best-selling authors including Chrissy Benjamin, The Geneva Project, Truth; Sharon Coady, Summer of Change; S.L. Dwyer, Dirt; Jaimie M. Engle Clifton Chase and the Arrow of Light; Christina Farley, Gilded; and Chris Tozier, Olivia Brophie and the Sky Island. SHINE volunteers
SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) Specially trained volunteers can assist with Medicare, Medicaid, and health insurance questions by providing one-on-one counseling and information. SHINE services are free, unbiased and confidential.
