Free Social Services Available at the Leesburg Public Library

Do you need assistance in applying for Medicaid, food stamps, or temporary cash assistance? Do you have questions about Medicare, Medigap or long-term care options? On Tuesdays, the Leesburg Public Library has counselors who offer personal assistance! One-on-one assistance with Medicaid, food stamp and temporary cash assistance is provided by Access Florida community partner representatives every Tuesday between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Trained SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) volunteers are on hand from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month to provide Medicare and health insurance information and counseling for those over 65. All services are free and available to the public.
