For our readers, several new romance titles from our guest authors have been added to our collection of eBooks. Go to mylakelibrary.lib.overdrive.com to check them out! “Romance fiction is smart, fresh and diverse. Whether you enjoy contemporary dialogue, historical settings, mystery, thrillers or any number of other themes, there's a romance novel waiting for you! Two basic elements comprise every romance novel: a central love story and an emotionally satisfying and optimistic ending.” Romance Writers of America

The variety and talent includes award winning authors from Harlequin, one of the world's leading publishers of books for women. Diane Burke, award winning author, writes inspirational romantic suspense for the Love Inspired Books. Her debut novel, Midnight Caller, won several awards before publication, including first place in the Daphne du Maurier Award for Excellence in Mystery and Suspense. Christian fiction author Louise Gouge writes for the Love Inspired Historical Line. She is the winner of the Inspirational Readers Choice Contest for Long Historical Novel, and has received Four-Stars for At the Captain's Command and The Captain’s Lady from Romantic Times Book Reviews.
