Yes, adults and young adults can participate in their very own summer reading program. Why should the kids have all the fun?? The W. T. Bland Public Library will again have an adult summer reading program, ”Read to Win” through July 26.
When you check out books or audio books (limited to once daily) by coming into our Library, sign up to win weekly prizes and also a chance at the grand prize – a Kindle Fire. Each week, you have a chance to win a $25 gift card such as iTunes, Target, Publix, High Five Yogurt, A Barrel of Books and Games, Cupcake Delights, and Five Guys. The weekly winning entries will also have a chance at the grand prize – a Kindle Fire HD
Young adults – aka teens – ages 12 to 18 have the same chance to win $25 gift cards and the Kindle Fire HD. All you have to do is read – “tree” books, audio – books on CD or Playaways. You must come into our Library, check out a book and fill out a form when you check out your selections (limited to once daily).
There are no requirements for our adult and teen summer reading program “Read to Win” other than:
• Check out books or audio books (Books on CD or Playaways) by coming into the W. T. Bland Public Library.
• Must be age 18 or older
• Enter only once daily.
The Mount Dora Library Association is underwriting the cost of the “Read to Win” Adult Summer Reading Program. The Friends of the Library are underwriting the cost of the Teen “Read to Win” Summer Reading Program.
The Adult and Teen Summer Reading Program will be held at the W. T. Bland Public Library located at 1995 N. Donnelly Street in Mount Dora. All Library programs are free and open to the public. For additional information, call (352) 735-7180 option 5.
