Paranormal Romance, Gothic Suspense and Urban Fantasy

The Reading Romance Expo, August 2nd from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the W. T. Bland Public Library will offer the chance to meet award winning authors of Paranormal Romance, Gothic Suspense and Urban Fantasy.

Blair Bancroft’s Regency Gothic, Brides of Falconfell, beautifully illustrates the gloom and lurking evil of a "Gothic" novel. Her character Serena Farnsworth, lives a life of service until her help is requested in a gloomy mansion in England's far north, where she encounters murder, witchcraft, mid-summer revels. . . and the lord of the manor—who might be a murderer.

Neely Powell is the pseudonym for co-writers Leigh Neely and Jan Hamilton Powell. Witch’s Awakening is part of the Urban Fantasy/Paranormal series The Connelly Witches miniseries from Harlequin E. It features strong women who are a family of witches, a centuries-old curse, shapeshifters, faeries, ghosts, werewolves and more.

Joyce Humphrey Cares writes Time Travel/Romantic Suspense. Her first novel Beyond the Mist is set in present day France and the time of the French Revolution when blood ran down the streets of Paris.

Wynter Daniels has authored more than two dozen books. She has added Paranormal Romance to her repertoire with a new series, The Witches of Freedom Moon. The books feature a bit of suspense, a bit of paranormal, and a lot of romance.

Tmonique Stephens loves Paranormal Romance and Fantasy. Eternity and Everlasting are the first two novels in her Descendants of Ra series. Cursed for 2000 years, Roman Nicolis has tracked his lovers’ soul through each reincarnation only to lose her horribly every time.

The Expo will also offer chances at some great prizes. Anyone who attends and meets the outstanding authors will be entered in a drawing for signed copies of featured books, gift certificates to the Book Nook and gift certificates from our outstanding donors include Aveda Salon and Spa, the Copacabana Cuban Café, Cody’s on Fourth, the Orange Blossom Cannonball Express, Maggie’s Attic and Pisces Rising.
