April 17 - Earth Day Celebration
Kids will be planting a “Sundew” carnivorous (it eats bugs) plant to take home, create an “Earthy” snack and take part in a Go Green Trivia Contest.
May 15 - Meet the Author Elaine Huffman
Listen to the author tell her story, there will be a question and answer period and book signing. A small supply of books will be available to purchase. Afterwards be sure to sign up for the Cagan Crossings 2010 Summer Reading Program “Make a Splash”.
May 17 - Sea World Outreach
One goal of Sea World Education Dept. is to instill in students of all ages an appreciation for science and a respect for all living creatures and natural resources. Join us in the library meeting room @ 4:00 p.m. for grades K-2; and @ 5:00 p.m. for grades 3-5.
June 14 - “Make a Splash” 2010 Summer Reading Program
This day begins our 7-week program for kids to relax, enjoy and read for fun! Monday is Preschool Storytime and Craft Day; Tuesday is Special Guest Performer day; Wednesday is Baby & Toddler Storytime and Thursday is Movie Matinee Day.
