Marianne Beck Memorial Library To Close for Renovation

The Marianne Beck Memorial Library in Howey-in-the-Hills will be expanding to better serve patrons. This expansion will add approximately 700 square feet that will provide additional space for enhanced programming and library resources. Library services will be suspended and the library closed during this construction project. The anticipated re-opening will be in December of 2012.

Library staff will not have access to computers for processing during this period so will be unable to process holds and checkouts at the Marianne Beck Memorial Library location. Patrons are asked to change their “Holds” pick-up location to any of the remaining 14 member and branch libraries. A book-drop will remain on the premises for those wishing to return materials in Howey.

Check the website for updates and construction news. The goal is to open in December, in time for a Holiday Open house.
