Groveland Digs Into Reading

Summer Reading at the Marion Baysinger Library

Marion Baysinger Library Staff and Friends of the Library celebrated Katia Barber’s new beginning with Cagan Crossings Community Library. Wishing her all the best!

Children’s Summer Reading Program 2013
Readers of all ages will explore all things underground this summer at Marion Baysinger Memorial County Library’s’ “Dig Into Reading” summer program.

The 2013 Summer Reading Program is open to children K through 5th grade, with programs on dinosaurs or construction vehicles, prize drawings, story hours, crafts, and more. Families are invited to join the Read-to-Me portion of the program. Two Grand Prizes will be presented to the top summer readers! Registration for “Dig Into Reading” begins on June 1.

Activities include special guests’ shows like Karen Climer’s Crazy Balloon Show, Children’s Educational Theater, Swamp Girl Adventures, Talako Indian Dancers and Zoo Mom Science all on Thursdays at 2 p.m. with one special surprise featured film showing at 2 p.m. July 25 in the Puryear Community Building in Groveland. Come enjoy our Tuesday Movie Matinees at 1 p.m. also at the Puryear Community Building, visit the library for movie listings and dates.
