Libraries have limited reopening and/or curbside service.
As of August 17, 2020, patrons must return checkouts by their due date to avoid fees. All previous fines and fees will remain. Please view our press release for more details.
The Marianne Beck Memorial Library reopened at a limited capacity starting Monday, May 11, 2020.
MASKS: Recommended for everyone visiting the library.
CAPACITY: Choose one family member to visit the library to pick up your consolidated family’s list of requests. One person allowed per aisle. Patrons may be asked to wait outside until someone leaves to maintain capacity.
RETURNS: Place all returns in the book/media drops outside. Do not bring library items into the library except puzzles & games.
OVERDUE ITEMS: Items will be automatically returned until further notice. All items checked out after March 16, 2020 will not accrue fines. Previous fines will remain on your account
CHECKOUTS: Visit us, call us or use the online catalog to put items on hold. No curbside service provided. Items must be picked up from inside the library building.
PREVIOUS HOLDS: All previous holds will be honored and fulfilled. Items can be transferred to/from many libraries. Please check the LCLS website for details.
COMPUTERS: Visit the library to sign up to use a computer. Maximum of five computers available to ensure social distancing. Maximum use of 30 minutes if others are waiting for a computer. Staff will wipe down computer stations (keyboard, mouse, table, and screen) after each use.
TABLES: Maximum of 4 people per table if from the same household. Otherwise, maximum of 1 person per table. Staff will wipe down tables and chairs after each use.
PROGRAMS: All programs and events remain cancelled until further notice.
CEREMONY: The groundbreaking ceremony will be celebrated instead as a grand opening! Date TBD.
